Biografia
Richard Stuart Linklater (Houston, 30 de julho de 1960) é um cineasta e escritor norte-americano. Seu primeiro filme a alcançar o sucesso foi Before Sunrise "Antes do Amanhecer", que lhe rendeu o Urso de Prata de melhor diretor. Richard fundou a Austin Film Society em 1985 junto com Lee Daniel, seu colaborador, e por isso ele é bastante popular e louvado na cidade de Austin. Venceu o Globo de ouro com Boyhood: Da Infância a Juventude". Com o filme Antes do amanhecer (1995) ganhou o Urso de Prata como melhor realizador. Ganhou o Prêmio Lanterna Mágica no Festival de Veneza por Waking Life (2001).
