Biografia
Sir David Mark Rylance Waters (nascido em 18 de janeiro de 1960 em Ashford, Kent, Inglaterra) é um ator, diretor de teatro e dramaturgo inglês. Ele foi o principal diretor artístico do Shakespeare's Globe em Londres, entre 1995 e 2005. Suas aparições no cinema incluem Prospero's Books (1991), Angels and Insects (1995), Institute Benjamenta (1996) e Intimacy (2001). Rylance ganhou o Oscar e o BAFTA de Melhor Ator Coadjuvante por sua interpretação de Rudolf Abel em Bridge of Spies (2015). Rylance desempenhou o papel-título em The BFG (2016), de Steven Spielberg, uma adaptação cinematográfica live-action do livro infantil de Roald Dahl, e apareceu em Dunkirk (2017), de Christopher Nolan, baseado na evacuação britânica na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Ele apareceu como James Halliday no filme de Spielberg de 2018, Ready Player One, baseado no romance de mesmo nome.
