Mais conhecida no papel de "Kris Munroe" do seriado As Panteras (Charlie's Angels, 1976-1981); substituiu Farrah Fawcett no segundo ano da série; havia dúvidas se Ladd poderia preencher o vazio deixado pela atriz Fawcett-Majors; no entanto, após a entrada de Kris foi calorosamente bem recebida.
