Biografia
Zasu Pitts foi uma atriz americana que estrelou em muitos dramas mudos e comédias, fazendo a transição com sucesso para filmes de comédia com o advento dos filmes sonoros. Ela pode ser mais conhecida por sua atuação no filme mudo épico de Erich von Stroheim, Greed. Com base em sua atuação, von Stroheim rotulou Pitts de "a maior atriz dramática". Ele também a apresentou em seus filmes The Honeymoon (1928), The Wedding March (1928), War Nurse (1930) e Walking Down Broadway, lançado como Hello, Sister! (1933). No entanto, na maior parte do tempo, com o advento do som, Pitts foi basicamente relegado às partes cômicas.
