Biografia
Laurence Kerr Olivier, Barão Olivier, (Dorking, 22 de maio de 1907 — Steyning, 11 de julho de 1989) foi um renomado ator, produtor e diretor britânico. Vencedor de quatro Oscars, três Globos de Ouro, três BAFTAs, três prêmios NBR e cinco Emmys, é considerado por muitos como o maior ator de todos os tempos, tanto no cinema quanto no teatro. Sua primeira premiação com o Oscar foi em 1946, por sua atuação e direção em "Henrique V". Dois anos depois sua produção "Hamlet" levou quatro Oscars: filme, ator principal, direção de arte e figurino. Em 1978 recebeu um Oscar especial pelo conjunto de sua obra.
