Biografia
Ator americano de cinema e teatro, além de dramaturgo, diretor e produtor. Ele é talvez mais conhecido por seus papéis como Morpheus na trilogia de filmes de ficção científica Matrix e como o cantor e músico Ike Turner no filme biográfico de Tina Turner, O que o amor tem a ver com isso. Ele se tornou o primeiro afro-americano a retratar Otelo em um filme de um grande estúdio quando apareceu na adaptação cinematográfica de Oliver Parker de 1995 da peça de Shakespeare. Fishburne ganhou um Tony Award de Melhor Ator em Peça por sua atuação em Two Trains Running (1992) e um Prêmio Emmy por Ator Convidado de Série Dramática por sua atuação em TriBeCa (1993). O primeiro casamento de Fishburne foi com a atriz Hajna O. Moss. Eles tiveram dois filhos juntos: um filho, Langston e uma filha, Montana. Fishburne também foi casado (2002-2018) com a atriz Gina Torres. Eles tiveram uma filha juntos, Delilah. Foi indicado ao Oscar de melhor ator pelo filme What's Love Got to Do with It.
