Biografia
O ator, escritor e comediante inglês Simon Pegg nasceu Simon John Beckingham em Brockworth, Gloucestershire, para Gillian Rosemary (Smith), um funcionário público, e John Henry Beckingham, um músico de jazz. Seus pais se divorciaram quando Pegg tinha sete anos. Mais tarde, ele tomou o sobrenome de seu padrasto, "Pegg". Ele foi educado na Brockworth Comprehensive Secondary School, em Gloucestershire, e foi para o Stratford-upon-Avon College para estudar literatura inglesa e estudos de desempenho. Ele então frequentou a Universidade de Bristol, e ganhou um diploma de bacharel em drama. No início dos anos 90, Pegg mudou-se para Londres e começou a criar uma carreira de sucesso em stand-up comedy.
