Biografia
Roger William Corman foi um diretor, produtor e ator de cinema americano. Conhecido por vários apelidos como "O Papa do Cinema Pop", "O Rei dos B's", "O Padrinho Espiritual da Nova Hollywood" e "O Rei do Culto", ele era conhecido como um pioneiro no mundo do cinema independente. Muitos dos mais de 500 longas-metragens dirigidos ou produzidos por Corman eram filmes de baixo orçamento que mais tarde atraíram seguidores cult, como A Pequena Loja dos Horrores (1960), O Intruso (1962), X: O Homem dos Olhos de Raio-X (1963) e os filmes de contracultura, Os Anjos Selvagens (1966) e A Viagem (1967).
