Susan Alexandra "Sigourney" Weaver (Manhattan, New York City, 8 de outubro de 1949) é uma atriz americana. Weaver é considerada a pioneira das heroínas de ação em filmes de ficção científica. Ela é conhecida por seu papel como Ellen Ripley na franquia Alien, que lhe rendeu uma indicação ao Oscar em 1986 e é frequentemente considerada uma das protagonistas femininas mais significativas da história do cinema. Sete vezes indicada ao Globo de Ouro, Weaver ganhou tanto de Melhor Atriz em Drama quanto de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em 1988 por seu trabalho nos filmes Gorillas in the Mist e Working Girl, tornando-se a primeira pessoa a ganhar dois Globos de Ouro de atuação no mesmo ano .
